What are Google review responses?
Customers read your replies as closely as your reviews. A thank-you shows the people still deciding that someone is paying attention, and a calm answer to a bad review can win back more than the review cost. Most owners know this, and most still fall months behind.
Google review responses keeps you current. When a review comes in, a reply is drafted in your voice, using what the customer actually said, and sent to you. You approve it, edit it or skip it.
how it works
How do Google review responses work?
-
A review comes in
We watch your Google Business Profile for new reviews, and catch the old ones still waiting for an answer.
-
A reply is drafted
In your voice, using what the customer actually said. Thank-yous stay short. Tough reviews get a calm, honest reply that takes the conversation offline.
-
You approve, it posts
You approve, edit or skip each reply from your phone. Only approved replies post, under your business name.
the rules are part of the build
What stays in your control.
- Nothing posts without your approval.
- No promises, refunds or discounts in a reply unless you write them.
- No customer details beyond what they shared in their review.
- Everyone gets asked for a review the same way. Google doesn't allow asking only happy customers, and neither do we.
- No fake reviews, paid reviews or review swaps. Ever.
worth knowing
Google says: "When you reply to customer reviews, it shows that you value their feedback." And: "More reviews and positive ratings can help your business's local ranking."
questions owners ask
Questions about Google review responses
Do you post replies without asking me?
Never. Every reply waits for your approval. You can approve, edit or skip it from your phone.
Should I reply to every Google review?
Yes, good and bad. Google says replying shows customers you value their feedback, and the people deciding between you and a competitor read the replies. Short and genuine beats long and scripted.
How do you handle a one-star review?
The draft stays calm: it thanks them, owns what is fair, and invites them to call or email so it can be settled privately. It never argues, blames the customer or shares their job details. You decide what goes up.
Can you help me get more reviews?
Yes, the right way: every customer gets the same simple request with your review link. Google doesn't allow asking only happy customers or offering anything in exchange for a review, so we don't.
Will the replies sound like AI?
They're written from your own past replies and the way you talk, and you see each one before it posts. If one doesn't sound like you, change it, and we update your voice notes from your edits.
Do I have to give you my Google password?
No. You add us as a manager on your Google Business Profile and can remove us at any time. You stay the owner.
What does it cost?
It depends on the business and the leak. On a short call we'll show you what fixing it is likely worth, and you'll see the price before anything starts. No long contract.
The other five.
Each one plugs a different leak. Start with the one that costs you the most, and add the next when it pays for itself.
